Due to the expansion of the churches, communities, congregation and services in the diocese, Fr. Maximus Abba Moses was ordained as Episcopal Vicar for the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of the Southern United States for Texas and Arizona affairs under the auspices of His Grace Bishop Youssef, the Bishop of the Diocese. In November 2019, Fr. Maximus was ordained Auxiliary Bishop for the Coptic Orthodox Diocese of the Southern United States by H.H. Pope Tawadros II in Cairo, Egypt. We pray that the Lord will continue blessing his service.
