This catechism course is designed to guide individuals on their journey into the Orthodox faith, equipping them to live a Christ-centered life. It consists of three key components: Orthodox Foundations, Orthodox Christian Dogma, & Living Orthodox.
Who it’s for: Anyone seeking Baptism and a solid foundation in the Coptic Orthodox faith.
Length: Approximately 12 weeks
Start dates: The course is offered year-round and you can finish it at your own pace. The recommendation is to spend 1-2 hours every day to watch the videos, refer to the additional resources, and pray to God "Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law." (Psalm 119:18)
Prayer
Lord, guide us into all purity of heart, grant to us a sober mind, and teach us Your Truth, for the sake of our wisdom and salvation.
O God, make us worthy to be Your disciples, and members of Your Holy Church. Build, within us, a strong foundation of faith, “that [we] may know You, the only True God, and Jesus Christ Whom You have sent.”
We pray all these things, in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit— One God. Amen.
