Rules

1. Only non-marking athletic shoes are permitted. Loafers and hi heels are not allowed. Muddy or dirty shoes will not be allowed in the gym.

2. Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times.

3. Males should wear basketball shorts or pants.

4. Females must wear shorts that come to the knees or pants. No short shorts, no banana string shirts.

5. Food and gum are prohibited.

6. No glass or metal containers will be permitted.

7. Participants will be financially responsible for damaged, stolen or lost sports equipment. All equipment will be used in the proper way.

8. Disagreements, disputes and arguments not settled in a Christian manner will result in the participant being asked to leave the floor.

9. No person shall use the gym for any activity other than its intended purpose, unless approved by the Coordinator.

10. The gym shall be opened and used only in the allotted time for the allotted activity.

11. The following activities are not permitted and will result in dismissal, suspension or expulsion of your right to use the gym.
      • Fighting
      • Swearing
      • Property damage or vandalism
      • Disorderly Conduct
      • Horseplay
      • Littering

12. The Coordinator on duty will have the right to dismiss individuals from the gym for conduct not fitting a Christian. Games can also be curtailed at the Coordinators discretion.

13. Any disputes over times, players, games and procedures will be decided by the Coordinator on duty.

14. St Marks will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items brought into the gym. It is strongly recommended that all belongings be locked in your vehicle or left at home.

15. Participating in the facilities activities, programs and equipment is at your own risk. If you need help or assistance, please ask the coordinator on duty.

16. Only active church members will be allowed in the gym at all times.

Please keep in mind these rules are to ensure a comfortable and safe atmosphere for everyone. Please be courteous and respectful of others and the facility.
